Have you ever been to a wedding where hurricane winds suddenly crashed the party just as the first dance floor song came on? Talk about an epic way to start the dance floor- sounds of glass shattering, red wine marks covering white table cloths, hair escaping the restraints of bobby pins… and a voice over the microphone saying, “SLOWLY BUT QUICKLY HEAD INSIDE IMMEDIATELY AS WE ARE IN A SEVERE STORM.”

We made our way inside the museum- a space not big enough for the 150 or so guests. No A/C, bodies squished YET laughter heard in every corner. Three friends began singing while playing the piano in a small, yet crowded room. I remember everyone screaming, “Country roads!! Take me home!” as if we were at a live venue.

Forty-five minutes later we were back outside, dancing among the decoration debris like we had never stopped.
