TRENDY FILM MATERNITY SESSION IN SCARSDALE, NY

Three and a half years after I celebrated Brendan and Liz’s wedding at Early Mountain Vineyards, VA, Liz shared their exciting life update: “I'm pregnant!” I was ecstatic. The best part of my work is witnessing life’s biggest milestones alongside clients who often become dear friends.
Liz shared her vision with me, “I'm talking artsy/frolicking in a meadow/earth-mother, and less hand-on-belly/demurely holding hands.” It spoke to my creative soul, so we went right to work on designing.
We spent two days in Scarsdale, NY, running around the quiet woods surrounding our ivy-covered cottage Airbnb. Liz brought along most of her wardrobe, allowing me to style her in whatever vision I had... It was an artist’s dream.
This session shifted something in me. It reminded me how deeply fulfilled I feel when I’m creating with intention - dreaming up scenes, styling details, and exploring new places. Through creative direction and adventure, I discovered a new passion within my work: styled maternity sessions.
